Being a member of both Wealthy Affiliate University(WAU) and the Affiliate Marketing School (AMS), my objective today is to help you decide which school would be the best for your needs when it comes to learning about internet marketing. The criteria that I have evaluated the two schools are by cost, support, quality of resources and options.
Let me first start with stating the costs. Firstly, WAU do charge you a flat monthly fee, for usage of all their proprietary tools, resources and services that they offer as opposed to AMS, whose services are free. Now you might be thinking, great AMS it is, but please...read on.
Now as for support, with AMS, you have the option of choosing a dedicated headmaster, in which you can use to direct any questions. The small community of forum members may also provide a little support. With WAU, you have the ability to be coached by the actual owners of the site, and you have over 9000 members in which you can post a question to and sometimes get answers within minutes.
When it comes to quality of resources, well what AMS offers you is basically instruction to build you affiliate marketing business by reading about it in the forums, and following very brief instructions on how to start. This could prove more difficult for beginners. WAU offer you an 8-week action plan, for the real beginners, and then there are many textual and video tutorials, based on your level of expertise. They also offer you resources that will help you get your affiliate marketing campaign running, such as research tools and hosting facilities.
A benefit for AMS is that they do stick to teaching you how to market with only point-per-click advertising (so you have to have capital to start with) and within a proven personal finances industry. Whereas with WAU, the options to learn different methods of affiliate marketing and entering different niches are greater. You choose, everything from which method you will use to advertise (paid or free), to which industry niche you will choose to advertise.
Obviously, you can make your own mind up, which is the best school to join, based on what sounds more appealing to you. I hope that above has given you enough background information to help you decide, whether it be Wealthy Affiliate University or the Affiliate Marketing School.
