Many people out in cyberspace make money through Internet Marketing. There are so many sites that claim that they can help you make money online. Many of these companies promise overnight success. However all these claims are not legitimate. Don't be fooled or scammed by all the hype. It is high time to deal with the truth. Making money on the Internet is not a get rich quick scheme. If it was as easy as these websites promise would not everyone be doing it, and wouldn't everybody be millionaires? Who would work a day job if you could make money by the thousands over night or as some claim in minutes after signing up with their program.

Enough of the hype…there is no pie in the sky or pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. Now, make no mistake about it there is money to be made on the internet. Just as there are companies offering genuine programs that have genuine income opportunities. These genuine income opportunities are available to make money on the internet but to avoid getting duped one must learn how to become a real Internet Marketer.

First, it is necessary to get some training. Although its a rare find some of these genuine income opportunity programs offer one on one coaching. If time and effort are not put forth to learn the proper Internet Marketing techniques there is no point in even considering Internet Marketing. It takes both time and effort like anything else to be successful.

Internet marketing is not a new concept people have been doing it for years and achieving success. The process is not very complicated. There are basically three steps to make money online as an Internet marketer that anyone can put into action. Incidentally, Internet Marketers are also known by the term Affiliate Marketers

1. An Internet Marketer's job responsibility is to send people to company websites. This is done by promoting the sites through various techniques and strategies. The more acquainted they are with marketing techniques the better the job will be performed.

2. When the people that have been referred through your promoting make purchases a commission is received from the company that owns the product. As a matter of fact there are over a hundred thousand companies who pay Internet Marketers to send people to their sites. Some pay up to as much as 75% of the sale.

3. The commission earned will be received in the form of a check in the mail, by direct deposit, or through a Paypal account. Most companies pay on a bi-weekly basis.

These are the three steps of how Internet Marketing works, but there are numerous facets of Internet Marketing that need to be understood in order to really make money online as a Marketer. If a person is serious about earning money online…they can! Many people are doing it everyday. Why not do it? Making money online doesn't have to be difficult. But if you are deceived by those get rich quick schemes not only will you not make money but stand a good chance at losing some.

Genuine income opportunity programs can be described as those that offer proven techniques, great support, and of course a real opportunity to make money. The methods are easy to follow and you're walked through each step. They will also have a strong support system in place.

I won't sell any hype …no.. most likely thousands will not be made by the minute from these programs that offer a genuine income opportunity. But a good steady flow of income can be earned. And who knows perhaps with some persistence and a little effort millionaire status can be achieved ….after all who doesn't want to be a millionaire.
