While the way people take their coffee is as diverse as their personalities, many people like to add a little sugar to sweeten their morning pick me up. Sugar, unfortunately, can be more harmful than helpful during your daily routine.
While most people should avoid sugar for many health reasons, certain people need to avoid sugar all the time in order to continue living their lives. Individuals diagnosed with blood glucose problems can be extremely harmed by sugar products. Not only will they receive a subsequent spike in their blood pressure from the intake, but their increased carbohydrates due to the sugar can also be harmful to their body. Other people who should steer clear of sugar are individuals who are trying to lose weight. Ingesting sugar can increase carbohydrate levels causing an increase in weight. Sugar can also give you a quick burst of energy for a short time followed by an unsettling crash afterwards.
