Even those individuals who have not suffered from skin problems in their younger years will eventually begin to suffer skin aging and skin aging symptoms such as fine lines, wrinkles, sagging facial skin, age or liver spots, and possibly skin cancer. Rashes:-

Often times these will take the form of skin rashes that can indicate infection or simple irritation. You must first determine whether it is caused internally (as in the case of hives), externally or as the result of a localized infection. Such skin problems can indicate a very serious problem and should be investigated immediate upon noticing them. Sometimes radiation burns such as sunburn. can look like rashes on certain types of skin. Be careful and look for the tell tale signs of biological activity. Bacteria tend radiate out in a circular pattern. When this forms a streak and appears to be moving out of a localized area, it is time to seek professional advice; as such infections can become systemic and present a mortal threat.

Blemishes:-

Pimples and acne are the most common type of skin problem that people are interested in treating, in part, because almost everyone has some sort of hormonal related increase in blemish or "zit" activity around puberty. While a great deal of money is spent on remedies, some of the oldest remedies are still the most effective against these minor skin infections.

Allergies:- As mentioned above, some people have severe reactions to internal or external exposures that are actually allergies. Removing the contact that causes the reaction is usually sufficient, though in very severe cases, inoculations are required. For instance, the very common allergy to the zinc found in the buttons of denim jeans, and can be treated by painting over the surface so it doesn't touch the skin.

The range of skin problems that are caused by bacteria is high, but problems can also be caused by environment, skin modifications, yeast, fungi like in ringworm or athletes foot and inherited medical ailments like psoriasis and eczema. Seeking out the cause and prescribed treatment will almost always prevent you from making it worse, as seems to often be the case when proceeding blindly. Knowing when to seek medical advice to identify skin problems is also potentially life-saving.

To identify skin problems, your doctor may be of great help. Even a dermatologist may sometimes be necessary. Consult them if necessary!

Below are some simple tips for healthy skin:

• Start the day with a hot shower... but before you get out switch to cold water for about fifteen seconds. Then turn up the heat a little, and down again to repeat the process for about two minutes. This is a simple hydrotherapy technique which revitalizes the skin by stimulating the flow of blood through the body. It is both invigorating and highly beneficial to the skin. So even though you may not really enjoy the process, just think of the all the good it’s doing you!

• Use a good moisturizer. Choose a highly protective day cream which contains zinc oxide, and provides SPF30 protection to form a barrier against the elements. Creamier, water-in-oil emulsions are best. And don’t forget about your lips. Chapped lips are often the most noticeable problem for a lady in the winter. Use a highly moisturizing lip balm which provides a protective barrier, with vitamin E for good elasticity.

• Exfoliate at least twice a week. This will remove dead cells and allow the skin to absorb extra moisture. The oil which we all complain about in the summer is no longer being produced because of cooler winter temperatures and central heating. Therefore the skin looses the water which should be retained in the lower dermis of the skin. This can lead to premature aging of the skin and fine lines, whilst your skin can appear puffy and grey. Nice!

• Drink a glass of hot water with lemon. This Chinese herbal remedy is a sure-fire method of energizing your body. It will detox your entire system, including the liver and gall bladder. This means that your body will be able to clean the blood faster to get rid of toxins responsible for bad skin.

• Simply sleep! Money can’t buy the benefits of a good nights rest. Your oxygen levels will drop if you don’t get enough sleep, meaning that your cells will not be renewed as quickly. This is when degenerative skin aging sets in. Try to get seven, if not eight or nine hours of rest a night to achieve absolutely painless benefits. It’s ideal!
