Asking someone to be your groomsman is a serious request. This honor should not be bestowed lightly. In a similar vein, showing gratitude to one’s groomsmen should also be undertaken with reverence and forethought. In other words, do not buy gifts for your groomsmen that are impersonal, ordinary, or meaningless. That is why the best groomsmen gifts are personalized and/or monogrammed.
