The Blanket America project has partnered with Gifts in Kind in a massive relief effort to help Americans in need throughout the next year. This non-profit organization has set a goal of helping 1,000,000 needy Americans this year by providing them with a warm blanket. The President has also called those of use whom are able to help to action. Here's how you can do your part:

The Patchwork Heritage Collection was created with the idea of our varied American citizens coming together as one to help those in need. As a united nation we are much stronger than a divided one. It does not matter what color you are or what your background is: we all have something that can bring us together. With this idea in mind, the Patchwork Heritage Collection was born.

The Patchwork America Quilt is comprised of 13 different fabrics representing our original 13 colonies. On the reverse of the quilt is the entire Presidential Inaugural Speech from January 20, 2009, highlighting the words, "Patchwork Heritage" with our lady liberty set in the background.
