When an expert marketer tells you that you are going to love marketing and you laugh at the idea, you are truly one of those people who loathe to market and would much rather be left alone working directly with clients.

Sure, marketing would seem to be the scariest activity in the whole business process. Just the idea of marketing and going to networking events takes all sorts of monster figures in your head. In addition, you would rather stay ensconced in your little comfort zone and leave marketing to those who have the personality for it.

However, you have to market. That is the awful truth. No business can survive without it. The bottom line is for you to make a choice â€" a choice to step out and leave your security blanket behind so you can achieve the goals you have set out for your business.

What is needed is a complete overhaul of your beliefs and thinking about marketing. You have to make a connection between what you want for yourself and what you need to do to achieve it. Once you realize this truth, change will follow.

As what another expert said, what is worth doing is worth doing it even if it is uncomfortable. Having the compulsion to grow your business would provide you the drive to forget about your fear and resistance and just go ahead and market. Determination would help you to keep moving forward and face whatever it is you fear the most. As they say, you have to be comfortable with being uncomfortable. Or else, you would be stuck to just the way you are â€" with no results and no achievements.

What you need to have is a desire, a strategy and a plan to make your dreams come true. Step out of your comfort zone and do whatever it takes to accomplish your goal. Surround yourself with people along the way who can support you with your endeavors. Have yourself a team of marketing staff and a professional brochure printing company for example for your print brochures. Team up with people who have already achieved success in their own niche and those who are planning to do changes.

In terms of the planning itself for your marketing campaign, describe it in detail and provide measurable outcomes that you know you can accomplish. Be specific that you do not get overwhelmed and feel afraid and resistant again to the idea of marketing. Determine the areas where you need to focus on so you can reach your goal, and include concrete steps to create an effective marketing campaign.

The bottom line to having a successful marketing strategy without having the fear of doing it is to move forward so you are not stuck in your comfort zone. Transform your thoughts into winnable ideas and take action and responsibility to grow your business.
