The survey concluded that 150 men out of 200 were suffering from the erectile dysfunction. It was also found that overactive bladder was only the reason for the erectile dysfunction because these men were not having any other health problems.

The research was conducted by the scientists to find out the reason for the prominence of erectile dysfunction in men suffering from overactive bladder. According to the research, the overactive bladder leads to the contraction of muscles in the penis because of which the less amount of blood is supplied to penis during the sexual intercourse. They also proved that due to frequent urination the arteries and the veins are always filled with the urine and this leads to the less amount of blood supply to the penis. Overactive bladder also leads to the unstoppable need to urinate, which cause the loss of erection during the sexual activity or you may even not be able to hold the erection for the sufficient amount of time.
