In honor of the upcoming holiday, Pricego is suggesting great Father's Day ideas to make Dad and Grandpa happy. Most kids don't consider electronics to be an appropriate gift for grandpas, but these days the older generation is more technology savvy than their grandkids give them credit for.

Cd's are ok to give as gifts, but are quickly going out of style. Their capabilities are limited. It's obvious to everyone that buying cd's is a waste of money. Mp3 and Mp4 devices hold hundreds of songs and can be updated for the mood you are in. Play lists for certain occasions are easy to organize. A cheap mp3 players is a good way for grandpa and grandkids to bond. Not only are prices super low on this common device, they are easy to find. Downloading music is free or cheap through many websites, so why not make a grandpa and dad happy by downloading nostalgic tunes with them?

Grandkids don't realize that many grandparents raised their own children after the advent of the Atari gaming system. Nintendo and their predecessor gaming systems aren't exactly news to this generation. It may be a good idea to catch grandpa up to speed on the latest technological gaming advances and then challenge him to a Ps3 or Xbox 360 tournament. Grandpa may need a controller, so consider purchasing an extra Ps3 controller or Xbox accessories.

Grandparents and fathers both appreciate cell phones. Contrary to popular belief, grandparents can handle smart phones pretty well. iPhones are great for any age group and may even be easier to use for some people than a regular phone. The touch screen and special features make iPhones a lot of fun. It's easy to keep in touch with grandpa and update him on kid's tournaments, school events and extra curricular activities when he has an iPhone.
