Kidney disorders are caused by the two major reasons that are diabetes and high blood pressure. Diabetes causes about 35% of all chronic kidney disease. High blood sugar levels caused by diabetes damage the blood vessels in the kidneys. High blood pressure causes another 30% of all kidney disease. Having a narrowed or blocked renal artery that carries blood to the kidneys may also cause kidney disorders. Prostate gland, kidney stones, or a tumor that keeps urine from flowing out of the kidneys damage the kidney and cause kidney disorders. These all are the causes of the Kidney disorders, but now kidney disorders have turned to be the cause of the erectile dysfunction.

Erectile dysfunction is the inability in the men to attain the erection and hold the erection during the sexual encounter. Lack of blood supply to the penis during the sexual encounter is found to be the main cause of the erectile dysfunction. Blood that flows to the penis fills the sinusoids in the penis and makes the man to react to the sexual stimulation by getting a hard and strong erection. Diabetes, obesity, high blood pressure, and heart disorders contribute to the erectile dysfunction in men. When man suffers from the kidney disorders the blood supply to the penis is affected, which is turn results into the erectile dysfunction in men Kidney disorders doesn’t supply penis with the adequate blood that is needed for the man to react to the sexual stimulation. Even sometimes a pain is observed in men who suffer from the kidney disorders during the sexual activity.

To prove that kidney disorders cause the erectile dysfunction a study was conducted by the group of scientists. In the study 100 men suffering with the kidney disorders and 100 men suffering with the erectile dysfunction were asked the questionnaire regarding their sexual life and kidney problems. The group of the men suffering with kidney disorders was asked the questions regarding their sexual life. It was noted that 50% individuals were having a problems in their sexual life and 37% of them have even visited the doctor to know about the treatment of the erectile dysfunction. Then another group of men who were suffering with the erectile dysfunction was asked the questions about their kidney functioning. Only 11% of the men reported problems with the kidney functioning. It was clear from the study that kidney disorder and erectile dysfunction are linked. And, the study also cleared the fact that kidney disorders cause erectile dysfunction.

Please visit your doctor as soon as possible if you see any of the symptoms of kidney disorders like swelling in the legs, ankles, feet, face, and/or hands; extreme fatigue; metallic taste in mouth; or shortness of breath. You need to be very cautious about the kidney disorders otherwise you will be heading toward a big disaster in the bed room. Erectile dysfunction is observed in 50% of the individuals suffering with kidney disorders, so please take a good care of your kidney.
