Most church furniture are often Spartan and made up of long pews that can contain as many as 10 people. However, contemporary churches such as the Potter’s House tend to go for cushioned furniture that seat individuals. Thus minimizing the amount of body contact often witnessed in pews, and reducing the amount of discomfort many people feel when they seat on pews made up of hard wood like Oak, mahogany and so on.

Getting the right church furniture entails understanding the congregation, their needs, the number of worshippers at every service and the available space. For example, if there isn’t much space as seen in most Baptist churches, then it would be way better to buy church pews as against individual cushioned seats.

What to Look for When Buying Church Furniture

Maintaining church furniture is quite easy particularly when they are just long wooden pews and chairs. All you have to do is consistently wipe them with dry cloth, polish them after installation and once in a while afterwards.
