Getting paid for online survey jobs is easy but you need to know all the details. There are many ways in which you can get paid. It pays to find out exactly how you will be reimbursed for your time.

If you've run out of options in the corporate world and can't afford the fuel to get to work. If you're losing money by the time you pay a baby-sitter, pay for the commute and pay extra for the take out meals that you are too tired to cook at home after a 10 hour work day, why not get paid for online survey jobs? This income is earned while working from your computer in your home office or living room. You can even make a daily income while sitting at your kitchen table. There are several different ways that survey sites use to pay for your services.

Cash

The first and most obvious way that you can be paid for online survey assignments is cash.  Although many of the paid sites list payment amounts that range from $5.00 to $75.00, the higher end of the pay range is more difficult to find and usually is linked to panelist survey jobs rather than simply completing a questionnaire about a particularly product or service. Even if you are only paid pennies per survey, you can make those small amounts add up by increasing the volume of the surveys you complete.

Products

Often companies will make one or more of their products available to you as a way to get paid for online survey jobs. For example, you might receive a coupon for a free tube of toothpaste in return for completing a short online survey on your use of toothpaste products. The coupon can be redeemed for a tube of toothpaste at your local supermarket. Alternatively, the survey site may collect your mailing address and send you the product through your local post office. Although there is no cash that changes hands in this type of survey payment, you still profit when you no longer have to purchase certain products. If the products that are made available to you are not consumable items, but consumer durables, you can use the product, give it as a gift, or sell it through a classified ad or an action site.

Multilevel products

When you get paid for online survey jobs with multilevel products, they are usually more valuable or desirable items and as such are more attractive to people who complete the surveys. Multilevel products should not be confused with multilevel marketing. The term multilevel products refers to the type of survey where you are asked to indicate your interest in a large number of other products, services or informational packets. In some of the surveys, you must select a minimum number of items before you can work all the way through the survey. 

Referrals

Indirectly, you can get paid for online survey jobs when you refer friends or acquaintance from the site to take surveys. If you have friends who are intrigued by the thought of taking surveys for cash, products or other reimbursement, you can submit their names to the sites and get credit for the funds they accrue. You may even be able to work in a team effort to allow you to each find and complete more surveys than you would have otherwise done.
