So you have a business card and you even have brochures, business letters, and other advertisements to market your business and the things that it can do. However, do you have an effective booklet to advertise your products and services?

If you do not know it yet, booklets can help you create a marketing tool that is easy to do and quite effective in generating leads for your business.

Follow these simple steps and you will surely be able to create print booklets that will produce remarkable results to your bottom line.

1- Determine your purpose for printing booklets. Is it for your business-to-business marketing? On the other hand, do you intend to use it for business-to-business promotions? Based on the purpose of your booklet printing, you will then be able to determine the questions and queries that you will answer. You will also be able to know how much information you need to relay, as well as the vocabulary you need to utilize to get your message across.

2- Make sure you have entrusted someone to write your case studies for you. Providing informative articles and how-to details in your booklet can make it even easier to drive your expertise if you have case studies to vouch for the information you have. Case studies, as you may know, are success stories from your clients who used your products and services. You can either assign a staff writer to do it for you or hire a freelance writer to complete your case studies.

3- Don’t forget to include an informational page on the product or service you are promoting. Include information on how it works, why it works, how it was manufactured, and why you thought about providing the product or service to the market. Add pictures and graphics to make your explanation more appealing and interesting. Remember that explaining the features can be boring to many people who do not care about the technical. Having illustrations to accompany your words can make it a lot easier to read and understand.

4- Provide FAQs in your print booklet. Make sure that you include all the queries and answers that you think your target readers would want to know about your products and services. A list of your FAQs can help you make it faster for your target clients to understand your information.

5- Organize your pages. Make sure you have the case studies in the first two pages; the informational section in the next two pages; and the last 2 to 4 pages for your FAQs.

6- Don’t forget to include your contact information. You would not want to frustrate your target readers after reading your booklet and they would want to contact you for more information but they cannot find your telephone number or even the email address anywhere in your booklet pages.

Finally, be sure to proofread your content and the pages you have before printing. Your marketing tool should be between 6 to 8 pages. Less than that and you will not have sufficient information to tell your target readers. More than eight would also make your collateral seem too much.
