Carbide bearings are durable industrial tools that are used in various industrial sectors to ease the running of different machines. They reduce friction between a rotating and a non-rotating piece.

Carbide Bearing Types

Of all the different types of bearings available in the market, those made from stainless steel and iron is the most widely used. Those made from tungsten carbide are used in places where there is a huge requirement of heavy duty bearings that have to run for a long time.

Generally carbide bearings come in three parts- the race (the innermost part), the rollers (ball bearings and needles) and the carrier (the outermost part).
