Author: kuldeep When I first got started online, I found it very difficult to master search engine techniques, pay-per-click and many of the other traffic strategies that I was presented with. So one day I got an email from someone that was promoting an e-book about Article Marketing, something that I had never heard of before. So I purchased the e-book, applied what I learned and never looked back.
Many people seem to think that Article Marketing is dead, but in my opinion, Article Marketing is still one of the best free ways to get free traffic to your website.
There is always a need for fresh new content online, so why not be the person that provides it.
Writing articles is also a good way to get one way links back to your website. Your articles will rank higher in Search engines than ones with fewer links back to them, therefore making it lot easier for people to find you. This is great advertising for your website allowing you to gain credibility in your area of expertise if you write good articles.
Contrary to popular belief, most people can write an article. The first thing you should do is to start off with a headline that stands out. You want to grab your readers' attention. Then list the key points you want to include in your article. If you feel you don't know enough about the topic, you can always do some research. Your goal is to sound like an expert in you niche.
Make sure you spell check your work, because there is nothing worse for the readers than an article with lots of misspellings.
Once you've completed your article there are many ways of getting it published, such as submission to article directories? There are also lots of websites that accept and publish articles. You could create a newsletter with your articles or start a blog. Make a list of all the places you can find to publish your articles. The possibilities are endless.
Set a goal to write at least two articles a week and get them published. Over time, the better you will become and with better quality come more free traffic. And in no time, you will have more traffic than you thought possible.
At the end of your article write something about yourself; (About the Author) and include your name, email address, website and any other information you want to advertise. The end result is 'payment' for your work - Free Traffic and Free Advertising.
