A home based business is what many people dream about. Maybe you are a stay at home mom, in need of some extra income. Or maybe you want to enjoy the freedom of being able to choose your own working hours. There might be other personal reasons.
When you start doing some research about it on the internet, you will realize that there are so much information on the subject that it's overwhelming. Especially if you are interested in the internet marketing business. You will read about all the must have e-books, programs and memberships people are trying to convince you that you absolutely need. It can be quite confusing. I know that myself, remembering the information overload that hit me.
What you need to do is to focus on ONE thing, and one thing only. Browse around and find out all the information you can about this. Visit forums and ask successful members if they think your idea is lucrative. Find out from people with experience. That's the way you learn the most, not by expensive e-books and programs. Do research, research, research. Think carefully on how you spend your money when investing in programs. Don't by anything before you have asked people what they think about the product. Ask, like I said, on forums.
The most lucrative business idea for me has been working with Ebay. I have sold resell rights of books and the last year, jewelry. This has been my most successful area, and I have tried a couple, believe me. People are ready to consume more than ever. On Ebay you can find many buyers automatically, otherwise it's quite a challenge to find your potential buyers in the net. Ebay does that for you.
You also have to find sources where to buy products with good retail prizes, so you can make as much profit as possible. That takes some research too. In the link below shows some useful links and also information on how I found my best jewelry retailer.
